This week I have decided to review everything (I have) from Tanya Burr Cosmetics’ original collection! I always watch her videos, and I have a few products from each of her ranges, so I will be reviewing them one by one on my blog. This week I will be reviewing Tanya’s original collection, and later on will be reviewing all her other collections. From her first range, I own one eyeshadow palette, one cheek palette, four nail polishes, and two lip glosses.
1. Tanya Burr Hollywood Eye Palette – £6
Top left – “nude delight”, top right – “gold coin”, bottom left – “enchantment”, bottom right – “bookworm”
This palette is the first palette I bought from Tanya Burr Cosmetics, and I chose this one as I really liked the warm, glittery, gold colours, and I love using it. I use “nude delight” and “bookworm ” the most. “Nude delight” can be used as a light base if I am using bright colours, or as a highlight for under the brow or next to the tear duct. “Bookworm” can be used as a transitioning shade or for the crease. The palette also has a heart shaped mirror.
2. Tanya Burr Peachy Glow Cheek Palette – £8
From left to right – “beach bronze”, “apricot flush”, “champagne shimmer”
This cheek palette is the only one I own from Tanya Burr Cosmetics, and my favourite thing from it is the highlight, “champagne shimmer”. The blush is a glittery peach, and the bronzer is slightly glittery warm brown.
3. Tanya Burr Nail Polishes in “Pick n Mix”, “Fairy Godmother”, “Penguin Chick” & “Frosting Cupcakes” – £5
Nail polishes are my favourite types of products from Tanya Burr Cosmetics, and I own four from the original collection. They apply very smoothly, and you only need two-three thin coats for an opaque look. Each of their gold lids come off so that you can use the smaller black lid for it to be easier to use. “Pick n Mix” is a bubblegum pink and is an opque polish. “Fairy” Godmother is a baby blue that is also very opaque. “Frosting Cupcakes” is a sheer pale pink with one coat or an colid pale pink with three coats. “Pengun Chick” is a dark grey and is the most opaque out of the four. If I had to pick a favourite it would either be “Fairy Godmother” or “Penguin Chick”.
4. Lip Gloss in “Aphrodite” – £6
I bought this lip gloss last year, but it isn’t available anymore. It is a little bit sticky, but other than that it is amazing. It is a sheer glittery red that you could put on on its own or over a lipstick.
5. Lip Gloss in “Chic” – £6
I bought this lip gloss in 2015, and is, or was, one of my favourite shades of lip glosses from Tanya Burr Cosmetics. The reason it looks completely different is because it is in the old packaging, before Tanya redesigned them. It isn’t available anymore, but there is a shade called “Daydream” which is very similiar.
