I don’t wear makeup everyday, but when I do its very minimal. My everyday makeup routine varies, sometimes I want a bit more coverage than other times. Today, I will be writing about what products I use and how I use them. I only use 6 or 7 products, 2 concealers, a blush, an eyelash curler
I use two different concealers in my everyday makeup, one for under eyes, and one for the rest of my face. I got this in a shade that matches my skin completely, because I didn’t want to use this as a brightening concealer. I use this concealer as its smooth and applys quite easily and it lasts all day, if I put on a bit of powder to set it in place. I use this under my brows as a very slight highlight, between my eyebrows/on my forehead, my chin, and cupid’s bow.
This concealer is my favourite out of all I have ever tried. It’s a brightening concealer made for under the eyes, which you could also use as highlight or a correction concealer. It has glitter in it, which I usually don’t like, but it’s not that visible unless you’re in the sun. The glitter also lifts and brightens the eyes. I use this in a triangle shape to cover my dark circles, and in my inner corner next to my tear duct.
To add some colour, I use a blush, and I use one by Barry M. As I heard a lot obout this product, I decided to try it. It’s a very glowy blush, which is good if you dont want to use a highlight with it, it’s like a two in one. I apply it to the apple’s of my cheeks.
Before applying mascar, I always use an eyelash curler to add and hold the curl, and I use this one by Claire’s. Obviously, you could use any one, and I am in need of a new one, btu at the moment I use this. I hold it for about 2-3 seconds, and then move onto mascara.
5 & 6.Maybelline One by One Volum’ Express Mascara or Mac False Lashes Mascara in Extreme Black (£19)
As mascaras are one of my favourite makeup products, I like changing them up all the time. At the moment, I switch between two, one by Mac and one by Maybelline. I use the Mac False Lashes Mascara when I want lots more volume and if I want false lashes, as the title suggests. It really does give the illusion of false lashes. If I don’t want it to be too much, the I use the Maybelline One By One Volum’ Express, which also gives volume but not as much as the one by Mac.
7. Any lipstick/lip balm/lip gloss
I flip between lip products a lot, and I don’t have one set one, but recently it’s been either Baby Lips in “Pink Punch” (2.99) by Maybelline, an EOS, or just a plain moisturising lip balm, like the Body Shop Cocoa Butter Lip Care Stick (£4).
I hope you enjoyed reading “My Everyday Makeup Routine” and maybe it gave you some insight into a few new products. There will be a new blogpost up next Sunday at 6 PM UK time!
