Recently, I was gifted the Revlon “10 Most Wanted” Nail Polish Set, a set of the 10 most wanted nail polish in the Revlon collection. It has everything, from solid colors, to metallic, to sheer glitters. I will go through every polish with a description and photo of the polish, along with a general idea of the polishes at the end of the post. The post will divided into three parts, solid colours, metallics, and glitters. I really hope you enjoy this blogpost, and if have any ideas for any future blogposts, please leave a comment down below or tweet me @xoannablog. Now on with the post…
1. Revlon Brilliant Strength Nail Polish in “Impress”
This polish is a nude shade but more on the darker side. Out of all the nudes I have had, this is definitely the darkest. I don’t think there is anything wrong with that, but i could see that some people might not like this, and would prefer a much lighter shade. I do think it looks the best white white nail art or on its own.
2. Revlon Brilliant Strength Nail Polish in “Inflame”
I don’t own many red polishes, but this one is definetly one of my favorites out of the set. It’s just a solid bright red, but a bit more on the orange side. You don’t even need more than two thin coats, or one if you paint a bit thick. If you are looking for a new red polish, definetly purchase this one as it has the quality and opacity of a high end nail polish but the price of a drugstore one.
3. Revlon Brilliant Strength Nail Polish in “Entice”
This polish is a very bright sea green, more on the green end of the colour wheel rather than the blue. I think this looks best with white (or any colour) polka dots.
4. Revlon Brilliant Strength Nail Polish in “Magnetize”
This shade is a silver metallic shade, one that I have been looking for a long time, but I think this one doesn’t show up as well as I hoped it would.
5. Revlon Brilliant Strength Nail Polish in “Hypnotize”
This polish is just like “Magnetize”, but instead in a gold shade and has more shimmer. Again, this one doesn’t show up as well just like the silver shade doesn’t.
6. Revlon Brilliant Strength Nail Polish in “Tempt”
I think this is one of my favourites, not only is it not like any other colour I have had before, it also has the most amazing shimmer! It’s a mermaid type blue shade with lots of glitter. I think this would look amazing in marble art.
7. & 8. Revlon Brilliant Strength Nail Polish in “Enchant”
There were two bottles of this shade, which I’m very pleased about. This polish is not meant to be opaque at all, so you can put it over any shade, especially a red one. It’s a sheer baby pink with lots of glitter.
9. Revlon Brilliant Strength Nail Polish in “Tantalize”
“Tantalize” is one that I don’t think I will be using as often as the others, as it’s such a bold shade. As you can see, it is a very glittery dark green polish, which I don’t think many people will like.
10. Revlon Brilliant Strength Nail Polish in “Dazzle”
Just like “Enchant”, “Dazzle” is a sheer glitter polish, which you can put over any shade. It is has more pink in it than “Enchant”. Other than the fact they’re sheer glitter polishes, there are different, so I will be using both.
I love these colours and their formula and I definitely will be trying more of Revlon’s polishes in the future. I hope you enjoyed my blogpost and there will be a new one up next Sunday at 6 PM UK time!
